Loren Culp's tenure as the "police chief" for the city of Republic, WA was so disastrous that the city council quietly dropped the position and turned over their policing responsibilities to the Ferry County sheriff.
Culp blamed his loss of a job on a conspiracy between the city council of Republic and the Ferry County Sheriff's Department, and then complained that he didn't get a "plaque" from the city for his pitiful and unremarkable service.
