FIGHTING AGAINST THE GOP IN EASTERN WASHINGTOn

Eastern Washington's 5th Congressional District is considered to be a safe seat for Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, but she just dropped out.

Control of the United State House of Representatives hangs on the outcome of just a handful of races. It's time to put pressure on Republican congresspeople in supposedly "safe" districts in order to put the GOP on its heels. 

Here's the thing: No serious opponent of a GOP candidate will be able to both introduce themselves AND fully exploit the power of unrestrained and targeted attack ads without seriously hampering their own electoral chances. That's a stark political fact. 

It's ALSO a fact that the current political media environment requires a different strategy to defeat Republicans in rural, conservative-leaning districts.
